CyberInstaller
Studio - 2. Main
Window
CyberInstaller Studio
(CIStudio) is the
software used to create the installation packages for CyberInstaller,
which allows, through a convenient graphical interface to prepare the necessary folder structure and the
modification of the installation script
based on a predetermined level, by which to define the installation
mode. All this in a completely automatic and assisted.
Furthermore CyberInstaller Studio
gives the possibility to transform the package created in a self-extracting compressed executable file. This gives the opportunity to distribute your
application with one file and the user will not have to do is execute
this file to launch the unpacking of the package and begin installing
it, all in a transparent manner and without risk.
CyberInstaller
Studio's main window is divided mainly initiated
once in 8 parts: the title bar, the menu
in the toolbar, the panel with the steps
to create the panel with the activities, the current step,
the title of current step, the panel with the analysis of the packet in
real time and the panel with the help fast.
We analyze the
interface in detail:
1. Title bar. It's divided into 3
parts: the title of the window, possibly loaded project and the version
of CyberInstaller
Studio, and the control buttons. It's possible
move the window, if not maximized, dragging the title bar, the window
title or the version (the term means the drag operation, click with the
left mouse button on the item and, holding it down, move the pointer to
the new area and, once you reach the desired point, release the left
mouse button). The control buttons are 3: the first from the left
minimizes the window, the second to maximize or restore it to normal
size, and the last to close CyberInstaller
Studio.
2. Menu and toolbar. The menu provides access to all
features offered by CyberInstaller
Studio. The toolbar provides quick access to the most useful
and of widespread use. Insisting the mouse
pointer over each button on the toolbar will display a description of
the button. For even faster access to the
functions of the menu, you
can use keyboard shortcuts, that particular combinations of keys that
when pressed will activate the voice (the appropriate combination for
each entry is written in the menu
next to the entry).
3. Passi package creation. List the steps needed to get
to the creation of the installation
package. The selected item is displayed at the current step
in the right panel and thereby selecting an item will skip directly to
the corresponding step, which will be immediately displayed in the
right pane. The steps are 19 and should be
all paths before reaching the completion of a package, although many
options are sufficient defaults. As a packet is created, or by
loading a previously saved packet, the steps will also include
additional information such as number of items inserted or size in
bytes of the elements for the corresponding step. It's a panel to keep an
eye on constantly, both to get an idea of where you are creating the
package, both for constant idea of how that was created (and its final
size).
4. Current
step. Step currently selected in the
left pane. This is the main work area and
contains all the options and fields for the selected step. Under the changes made, a
description of the pass in the left pane will be updated accordingly.
